JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a Senior Pre-sales Architect / Engineer who has excellent verbal, written and audience communication and presentation skills – both internally and externally. They must have the ability to ‘chalk and talk’ solutions with technical and business stakeholders and the ability to communicate deeply technical content to a non-technical audience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Senior Pre-Sales Architect/Engineer will be responsible for supporting Push Technology’s direct and channel sales initiatives based in the UK.
  • Build client specific proposals and demonstrate the Diffusion product suite.
  • Management of proof of concept in line with the customer’s success criteria, supporting partners and customers through the evaluation of our software.
  • Present the Diffusion technical and business value proposition to both individuals and groups of prospective customers and partners.
  • Taking ownership of responding to technical aspects of the RFI/RFP process.
  • Assessing client and partner requirements from both a commercial and a technical perspective to ensure maximum return on investment.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of both the Diffusion product as well as our competitor base, providing supporting materials that help with our competitive positioning.
  • Acting as an evangelist for Push Technology with both clients and in the wider technology and developer community.
  • Assist with the marketing aspects of pre-sales including production of white papers, crafting and delivery of webinars, markets and vertical specific presentations, and blogs posts.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential Requirements​

  • Successful track record in pre-sales within high value software sales cycles.
  • Excellent understanding of web server technologies, messaging, database, internet architectures and digital technologies. Have a good understanding of mobile development methods and approaches.
  • Solid development experience (ideally Java, JavaScript, C#) with the ability to get hands on with Diffusion.
  • Excellent presentation skills – comfortable with a varied group of people, from C-level executive to technical architects.
  • Strong focus on delivering customer excellence.
  • Ideally experienced in cross vertical solutions including but not limited to: Financial Services, Broadcast & Media, Utility, eGaming, and Transportation.
  • Must have a good understanding of the following technology markets: Big Data, Mobile, Cloud, Messaging, Web 2.0 / HTML5, and Business Intelligence.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Senior individual contributor with the ability to mentor and manage virtual delivery teams.
